Spirit guide and a weird dream with it?

i was wondering if anyone out there has any info on spirit guides i gotta few qestions first i was reading online about how one can connect with their spirit guide by doing some medation so i did and i seen a few images but none where clear enought to say whay it was so anyway i read that the spirit guide can also reach you in your sleep so i went to bed last night after having no luck of seeing or connecting any clear images by medation so i have this really weird dream im out walking by a lake by myself and i look into the lake and see a ghostly kinda face looking back and i say hey its the spirit world then my body started twiching and i was shaking and it felt like i was being sucked into a giant vacume i was trying to wake up but i couldnt then i aventually did does anyone with any expirance with spirit guides know what this means please help?
