How can you connect ethernet crossover cable from Xbox to windows 7 laptop to access Live?

I have Windows 7 with a Xbox connect to it using a ethernet crossover cable. I am on a college campus and they have walls that block access to their wifi connection using Cisco NAC Agent. Is their a way to at least connecting my laptop to my 360 without MAC error codes or IP static messages? How can you connect ethernet crossover cable from Xbox to windows 7 laptop to access Live?
If you use internet connection sharing, your laptop acts like a router.

It does NAT to your xbox, so all traffic to and from your xbox appears as it's originating from your laptop MAC.How can you connect ethernet crossover cable from Xbox to windows 7 laptop to access Live?
You can try connecting both with an ethernet cable, then going on Control Panel-%26gt; Network connections, highlighting both connections, and clicking ';Bridge Connections';. Then just follow the steps and you're done.
