I have a Windows XP and the laptop has Internal wireless. How do I connect to the internet. Do I need to download a driver?

No CD is included and the manufacture has wireless driver only for Vista which I previously used. How to connect to the internet with wireless?
you owuld seriously go from a more default prottected computer to xp?.....wow

anyways when you installed xp, the cd most likely did not have the drivers for your hardware, most likely because xp only includes driver for about 2003 products and below.

so find out what is the name of the wireless card in your laptop and find the driver for it and install it

when you install it, a little thing should po up saying ';Wireless Networks Found'; or something like that

then click the ballow to open a box and click on your wireless connection then type the password and your inHow to connect to the internet with wireless?
look up drivers for windows xp
if u dont have the wireless symbol in the start menu tray then u need a driver

if u have the wireless symbol, the simply right click on it. And view avaible wireless networks
You will need to have a wireless router, in order to have wireless access at home. Once you have a wireless router installed, you may need to install drivers on your computer, to enable wireless communication on your computer.
you dont need another driver unless your wifi card is not working right click my computer then go to hardware tab then device manager and find your wifi card and try to find or update driver if not go to the manufactures website and download it then just go to wireless connections and find your home connection and enter the key or passprhase.Make sure your wifi card will work with whatever your router is using B G N and make sure it will work with the kind of encryption your using as well and your good to go.
you could go to the laptops website and enter your model number and look for drivers that way. aslo check for hotkeys and any switches on the side of your computer
