Itouch wont connect to app store?

I have a wifi connection and its a 3g itouch. everytime I try it says- ';cannot connect with ipod store- invalid argument,'; Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you fix it? I tried rebooting it and the wifi connection and it still wont workItouch wont connect to app store?
Can you get onto the internet? If you can, then just plug the ipod to the computer and open iTunes. It should register your device and you can go on it. If you can't get on the internet, then try wiggling the wire on the router. That happened with my laptop but I found that it was just a loose wire on the Wi-Fi. If that doesn't help then look on the front and see if it says, ';WLAN'; on it. If there is NOT then it doesn't support your ipod. If there is, then look and see if there is a light or something to signify that it is working.Itouch wont connect to app store?
Its your Wi-Fi router. It might not be compatable with your iPod touch. Buy a new router. Belkin,Linksys,Cisco.
