I have a Sony CD changer and a Panasonic TV. Pretty basic. Both have RCA audio jacks, so I connect them with 2 cables. No sound. Is it because I absolutely HAVE to have an amplifier in the middle? I would think the relatively puny amp in the TV would be enough because, after all, it takes the Audio-in from all kinds of devices, including a DVD player that also plays CD's.Can I hook up my CD Changer directly to a TV?
I have a CRT TV that only accepts audio input along with a video input. Audio alone gives nothing. You could try hooking up the video output from anything that outputs video at the same time as playing the audio from the CD changer. Can I hook up my CD Changer directly to a TV?
Yes
As long as they are INPUT jacks
Don't forget to turn those jacks on (select a/v from your TV remote.)
good luck!
