How do you connect a stubborn Xbox 360 microphone?

We just bought a new wireless microphone (the kind you use with rockband, guitar hero, etc.) and it refuses to connect. We've read the directions and followed them completely and even watched youtube videos and we're doing all the same things they are but it just won't connect. My Xbox 360 Headset also has problems, but it kind of has it's own cycle of working and not working. My suggestion is to invest in a $60 Wireless Earpiece to prevent any cord problems. $20 headsets are basically like a cheap pair of headphones.


However, if you have a wireless headset already, I have no current experience with wireless headsets, but I'm planning on buying one in March. Perhaps there is a sync button. Syncing it while connected to the Xbox 360 might help. ?_?How do you connect a stubborn Xbox 360 microphone?
Well that is weird. Keep trying. Check the batteries. Make sure while you are trying to sync it that the green lights are going in a circle when you push the sync button on the Xbox 360.
